I always thought short films were supposed to be kind of weird and have no closure to them. They aren't exactly supposed to be watched, just to be watched. They should come with a warning: Interpretation Required! My take was that the carjacking experience was a kind of eye opener for her character....

Most movies don't start pushing in the advertising department until about 2-3 weeks before the movie comes out. Only the really big movies, like Pirates, get promotions starting months in advance.
